That month Cole, who plays for the Pittsburgh Pirates, was at Spring Training where he gushed to the media that he loved Vanessa, according to CBS Pittsburgh.
A couple of months later Vanessa revealed to Entertainment Tonight that in true pandemic style she and Cole were first introduced over Zoom.
'Me and Cole met on a Zoom meditation group. Very random, yes,' said Vanessa who shot to fame in High School Musical.

The upcoming movie will serve as Miranda's directorial debut.
Tick, Tick... Boom! is based on the autobiographical musical of the same name, which was written by the late playwright Jonathan Larson, who is best known as the creator of Rent.
It will follow a theatre composer named Jon, played by the Hacksaw Ridge star, who approaches a midlife crisis after his dreams do not turn out according to plan before he turns 30.

Development on the feature was first announced in 2018 when it was reported by Deadline that Miranda would helm the upcoming feature.
The movie's script was written by Tony-winning writer Steven Levenson, who is best known for his work on the musical Dear Evan Hansen.
The flick will also use the music that the musical's playwright originally wrote for the project.

Netflix secured the rights to the project in 2019, and Garfield's involvement was confirmed that October.
Many of the other cast members signed on to the project in November of that year, and the final few performers were added the following January.
Principal photography on the feature began in March of 2020, although it was postponed the following month due to the onset of the global pandemic.
Production reconvened that October and wrapped later that year before reshoots began to take place.
The trailer for Tick, Tick... Boom! was released this month, and it was confirmed that it would make its debut both in theaters and on Netflix at some point this coming fall.
