Page Industries net profit rises 45% yoy to Rs160.5cr; Stock under pressure

Liquidity continues to remain strong with robust cash flow management.

Page Industries Ltd, India’s leading apparel manufacturer has announced its financial results for the quarter and half year ended September 30, 2021 on Thursday.

Financial Highlights for Q2FY22
  • Revenue at Rs1084cr, up 46.4% yoy
  • EBITDA margin at 21.5%, at par with 22.3% during the same period last year
  • Reported Profit After Tax at Rs160.5cr; up 45% yoy. PAT margin at 14.8%
  • Cash and cash equivalents at Rs533.3cr, up 33% yoy. Liquidity continues to remain strong with robust cash flow management.
Financial Highlights for H1FY22
  • Revenue at Rs1585.5cr, up 55% yoy. Sales momentum has picked significantly during the second half of FY22
  • EBITDA margin at 16.9%, mainly due to lower margins in Q1FY22
  • Reported Profit After Tax at Rs171.4cr; up 140 % yoy. PAT margin at 10.8%
Commenting on the results, Managing Director, Sunder Genomal said, “As we announce our highest-ever revenue and PAT this quarter, we remain confident to deliver on the long-term growth prospects of the company. At around 2:21 PM, Page Industries was trading at Rs39,693.85 apiece down by Rs69.60 or 0.18% on Sensex.
