An Arizona man has agreed to plead guilty to distributing fentanyl-laced pills that caused rapper Mac Miller's fatal overdose.

A report by KTLA in Los Angeles says Ryan Michael Reavis, 38, is prepared to plead guilty to a single count of supplying counterfeit oxycodone pills to co-defendant Cameron James Pettit, 30, of West Hollywood, on Sept. 4, 2018.

Pettit is accused of giving the pills to Miller, who, according to the LA County coroner's report, died Sept. 7, 2018, from an accidental overdose due to a combination of alcohol, cocaine and fentanyl.

Reavis, who was living in Los Angeles at that point, subsequently moved to Arizona.

He was arrested in September 2019 at his home in Lake Havasu City and transported to the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office by the U.S. Marshals Service.

Police officers discovered a physician's prescription pad, prescription-only pills, drug paraphernalia, marijuana, various firearms, a personally manufactured firearm suppressor and large amounts of ammunition in Reavis' home, according to a news release from police posted on several Lake Havasu City news and social media sites.

According to an article in Rolling Stone on Oct. 2, 2019, prosecutors for the Central District of California charged Reavis, Pettit and a third defendant, Stephen Andrew Walter, 48, with distributing the drugs that they allege resulted in the rapper's death.

The U.S. Attorney’s Office told Rolling Stone, "The indictment contains two counts that accuse the men of being responsible for Mac Miller’s death — a conspiracy count and the narcotics distribution charge."

Walter earlier agreed to plead guilty to one count of distribution of fentanyl after allegedly directing Reavis to supply the pills to Pettit.

The case against Pettit is still pending, according to the U.S. Department of Justice.

The U.S. Attorney's Office says Reavis, whose trial was scheduled to begin March 1, admitted to knowing the pills contained fentanyl or some other controlled substance.

Miller struggled with substance abuse, a subject he often addressed in his music.

He was 26.
