NEW DELHI: Sugar stocks were trading lower on Thursday at 10:14AM

BAJAJHIND(up 1.37%), Ponni Sugars(Erode)(up 0.81%) and Rajshree Sugars & Chemicals(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers.

MAGADHSUGAR(down 6.36%), Dalmia Bharat Sugar & Industries(down 4.26%), Dhampur Sugar Mills(down 4.20%), AVADHSUGAR(down 4.04%), KCP Sugar & Industries(down 3.59%), Ugar Sugar Works(down 3.49%), Triveni Engineering & Industries(down 2.71%), K.M.Sugar Mills(down 2.58%), Simbhaoli Sugars(down 2.27%) and Mawana Sugars(down 2.06%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 135.45 points down at 17881.75, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 437.93 points at 59914.89 at around 10:14AM.

Larsen & Toubro(up 1.27%), Titan Company Ltd(up 1.24%), JSW Steel(up 0.64%), Hindalco Industries(up 0.54%), Tata Steel(up 0.5%), Tata Motors(up 0.12%), Adani Ports & Special Economic Zone(up 0.12%), Grasim Industries(up 0.12%), Maruti Suzuki(up 0.1%) and Coal India(up 0.06%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, Indian Oil Corporation(down 3.3%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(down 2.76%), Tech Mahindra(down 2.21%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(down 1.69%), HDFC(down 1.59%), Wipro(down 1.56%), Infosys(down 1.47%), Bajaj Finserv(down 1.47%), Asian Paints(down 1.33%) and TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 1.26%) were trading in the red.
