Arizona state troopers arrested two juveniles on Tuesday after receiving six reports of rock-throwing incidents on Interstate 10 in Tucson, one which resulted in serious injuries to a passenger inside a car.

According to the Department of Public Safety, state troopers received reports between Oct. 26 and Nov. 8 about rock-throwing incidents on I-10 between Palo Verde Road and Irvington Road.

All of the reported incidents took place between 8 p.m. and 1 a.m.

On Tuesday, two boys suspected to be responsible for the rock-throwing incidents were arrested.

The DPS said the suspects were released into the custody of their parents and criminal charges are pending.
