The Port Huron Police Department conducted a sting Wednesday for the sale of tobacco and vaping products to minors.

One business was cited Wednesday after the Port Huron Police Department conducted a sting for the sale of vaping and tobacco products to minors.

The department sent underage decoys to 34 of Port Huron's businesses during the operation. Of the businesses surveyed, 33 were found to be in compliance by refusing to sell vaping/tobacco products to the decoys, according to a press release from the department.

The Amoco gas station, 2856 Pine Grove Ave., Port Huron, was the only business found to not be in compliance, the department said.

The department encourages all businesses to check IDs to prevent the use of tobacco and vaping products by minors.
