Many of the states that were among the highest for COVID-19 vaccine opposition have also recently filed lawsuits against President Joe Biden's vaccine mandate, which applies to businesses with at least 100 employees to require the COVID-19 vaccine.

Missouri Attorney General Eric Schmitt filed a lawsuit against the mandate, representing 11 other states, including Wyoming, as did attorneys general in Idaho and Oklahoma. In total, 26 states have filed lawsuits.
