French mobile connections keep growth momentum with over 700,000 net adds in Q3

The positive trend in French mobile connections continued in the three months to September as year-on-year growth improved to 2.6 percent, from 2.5 percent sequentially and 1.2 percent in Q3 2020. According to Arcep's quarterly statistics, the mobile market in mainland France saw net additions improve for a second consecutive quarter to 711,000, up from 528,000 in the previous three months and 595,000 in the year-earlier period. While this growth was mainly driven by postpaid connections (+615,000), the prepaid segment contributed with 96,000 net additions, compared to the slight net loss
