170 Covid cases in Telangana, one death

HYDERABAD: Telangana recorded 173 new Covid-19 cases and one death on Tuesday. The number of active cases in the state stood at 3,754. The total count of cases since the beginning of the pandemic last year, stand at 6.72lakh and the death toll stands at 3,968.
A total of 168 patients were declared recovered on Tuesday. The case fatality rate (CFR) stands at 0.58 per cent while the recovery rate stood at 98.85 percent now.
On Tuesday, 40,797 samples were tested for the novel coronavirus. The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) recorded 61 cases on Tuesday.
