The No. 2 ranked Cincinnati football team in the Associated Press and college football coaches poll, is looking to keep its national title hopes alive Friday evening with a trip to Tampa, Fla., to face the South Florida Bulls.

Cincinnati, which is ranked No. 5 in the College Football Playoff rankings, hopes to rebound after close wins against Tulane and Tulsa. 

South Florida is 2-7 overall and 1-4 in the American Athletic Conference. Last week, they lost to Houston 54-42.

Cincinnati defeated Tulsa last week during the Bearcats' Homecoming game 28-20. The win came on the same day as the school hosted ESPN's College GameDay pregame program for the first time.
