Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 2.44%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 1.16%), Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.94%), KRISHANA(down 0.82%), Aries Agro(down 0.64%) and Coromandel International(down 0.11%) were among the top losers.
The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 90.15 points down at 17954.1, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 306.98 points at 60126.47 at around 10:29AM.
Mahindra & Mahindra(up 2.49%), UPL Ltd(up 2.3%), Britannia Industries(up 1.39%), Cipla(up 1.08%), Sun Pharmaceutical Industries(up 0.89%), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation(up 0.83%), Bharti Airtel(up 0.65%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 0.64%), Eicher Motors(up 0.61%) and Dr Reddys Laboratories(up 0.58%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.
On the other hand, Tata Steel(down 3.13%), JSW Steel(down 2.99%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.65%), Coal India(down 2.11%), IndusInd Bank(down 2.08%), Asian Paints(down 1.6%), ICICI Bank(down 1.39%), Divis Laboratories(down 1.33%), Power Grid Corporation of India(down 1.26%) and Titan Company Ltd(down 1.12%) were trading in the red.
