Diana Ross will be playing Glastonbury's coveted "legends slot" at the festival in 2022, organisers have confirmed.
The iconic singer was supposed to make her Glastonbury debut in 2020, but the event was cancelled due to the pandemic.
"I'm so excited and grateful to finally know that I'll be seeing you at #Glastonbury while on my UK Thank U Tour celebrating my new album of songs!" Diana shared on Instagram.
According to the BBC, the "legends" slot at Glastonbury, which takes place at midday on the Sunday, traditionally draws the biggest crowd.
In 2014, Dolly Parton's appearance during the slot drew Glastonbury's largest-ever crowd.
Other stars who have played the slot include Lionel Richie and Shirley Bassey.
"We were so excited to book such a legend for Glastonbury 2020 and are so happy that she's the first to re-confirm for next year," Glastonbury organisers said in a statement shared by the publication.
