Paddy acquisition: BJP to hold protests against Telangana government

Hyderabad: State BJP president Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Wednesday asked the party cadre to take part in large numbers in protests that will be organized by the party in all the district collection offices on Thursday and demand that the state government buy paddy from farmers.

In interaction with district party presidents, leaders and heads of several morchas at the State Party office here, he wondered why the state government is reluctant to buy paddy while the Center has already expressed its readiness to buy 60 lakh metric tons of paddy.
