The NSE Nifty index traded 77.05 points down at 17967.2, while BSE Sensex was down 277.93 points at 60155.52 as of 10:09AM(IST)on November 10.
In the Nifty index, UPL Ltd.(up 2.30 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.74 per cent), Britannia Industries Ltd.(up 1.25 per cent), Cipla Ltd.(up 1.02 per cent) and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd.(up 0.87 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, JSW Steel Ltd.(down 2.46 per cent), Tata Steel Ltd.(down 2.45 per cent), Hindalco Industries Ltd.(down 2.15 per cent), Coal India Ltd.(down 1.94 per cent) and IndusInd Bank Ltd.(down 1.71 per cent) were among the top losers.
