5G krijgt duidelijke contouren, met industriële processen, broadcast en FWA als belangrijkste toepassingen

Voor wie dichtbij het vuur zit, heeft 5G natuurlijk een grote impact maar voor wie er wat verder van af zit, lijkt er de laatste maanden weinig actie te zijn. Het nieuws liet zich in een bekend stramien vangen (zie onder). In dit artikel geven we een overzicht van de belangrijkste ontwikkelingen sinds juni 2021, waarmee langzamerhand duidelijk wordt wat 5G te bieden heeft bovenop 4G. Onze vorige updates over de 5G-markt dateren van 22 juni (technologie) en 6 juni (spectrum) .
