Jahangirpur area on Monday evening.

Sher Mohammed had been returning home from their fields when a group of four men gheraoed the duo and confronted them over an old dispute.
Police said some members of the two families had fought over a dispute earlier too and were jailed too.
However, on Monday evening, the accused side arrived and picked up a fight with Yusuf and his son again over a minor road rage incident.

Vishal Pandey said that the others hit the vehicle which led to an argument.
This led to a violent tussle between the two sides which was followed by firing.
Yusuf was taken to a private hospital where he died.
According to police, around 4.45 on Tuesday, 45-year-old Yusuf and his son Sher Mohammad (22) were walking towards their home from their fields in Jahangirpur area of Greater Noida when the accused identified as Irfan, Sufiyan, Armaan and Farmaan who arrived in a car, surrounded them and attacked them near the Nagliya road.
Police said the accused side deliberately hit Yusuf’s vehicle with their car.
While Sher Mohammad suffered a serious head injury, his father Yusuf was shot dead at the spot.
Onlookers took the father-son duo to the nearest private hospital where Yusuf was declared brought dead.
An FIR has been lodged for murder and assault against the four accused who belong to Vyapariyan area of the Jewar area.
Pandey said that both the sides have an old dispute and have a criminal background.
“Both the victim and the accused persons have cases lodged against them. The two sides belong to different sects of the same community but have an old dispute. Both have killed one person from each side in the past and have a murder case each lodged against them,” he said.
Jewar SHO Umesh Bahadur told TOI that a few months ago, prohibitory action was taken against both the sides to ensure they don’t resort to any kind of criminal activities.
