Geeta Singh gets standing ovation from Kaun Banega Crorepati host Amitabh Bachchan, wins Rs 1 crore without lifelines

Geeta Singh Gour from Madhya Pradesh on Tuesday received a standing ovation from Kaun Banega Crorepati host Amitabh Bachchan in the 57 episode of the 13 season season of the show.

With this, Geeta became the third crorepati of the Kaun Banega Crorepati 13, hosted by Amitabh Bachchan, after Himani Bundela and Sahil Ahirwar. She impressed Amitabh Bachchan with her incredible knowledge and even got a standing ovation from the superstar.

While she answered 15 questions correctly to win Rs1 crore, she was unable to answer the Rs 7 crore question. The jackpot question that Geeta was asked was which of these is not the names of three of Akbar’s grandsons when they were briefly converted to Christianity after being handed over to Jesuit priests?

Don Felipe, Don Henrique, Don Carlos and Don Francisco were the four options. Unsure of the correct answer, Geeta quit KBC 13. The correct answer was Don Francisco.

Though Geeta have failed to win Rs 7 crore but she won Big B’s heart with her determination and knowledge. Anil Gupta from Mandi, Himachal Pradesh was the next contestant to take the hot seat after Geeta.
