Hyderabad: Members of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Scheduled Caste Morcha marched from LB Stadium’s Babu Jagjivan Ram statue in Hyderabad to the Tank Bandh Ambedkar statue on Tuesday, beating drums prompting the immediate release of Rs 10 lakh the state government demanded to every Dalit family. .
BJP State President and MP Bandi Sanjay and other BJP leaders attended the event.
Seeking the implementation of Dalit Bandhu scheme across the state, Sanjay said: “Fear started for Telangana’s Prime Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Dalit Bandhu must be implemented throughout the state. K Chandrashekar Rao must retire as CM and a Dalit must be made the CM.
He further said: “Are you ready to cut off my head? Whether you’re ready to cut or not, I’m ready to behead for the people of Telangana. Decide time and place. ”
Bandi said KCR will only have six MLAs.
“Did KCR take part in the vote on the Telangana bill in parliament? Tell me why KCR did not go to Parliament? Who bought grain in these seven years? asked Bandi.
State President of the BJP claimed that KCR made only one Dalit as minister in his cabinet, while Prime Minister Narendra Modi made 12 ministers of the Union and further said that KCR is afraid of BJP.
Bandi said it should become a Dalit Prime Minister, “KCR, which said it would implement the Dalit Bandhu on November 4 after Huzurabad Bypoll results, has not yet implemented it.”
Bandi, who calls KCR satirical as uncle, said KCR got angry on Monday. “Give BP tablets properly for the Uncle,” he added.
Tarun Chugh, national secretary general of the BJP, explained why Bandi and other BJP leaders rioted in the state, told ANI: “The KCR government mocks Dalits across the Telangana state. So that’s why the “BJP State President Bandi Sanjay and other leaders have started this riot to bring justice to the Dalits of Telangana.”
