Goa on Tuesday recorded 25 new COVID-19 cases and no new death linked to the dreaded virus, taking the tally of active cases of the dreaded virus to 285.
The positivity rate of the total 3,905 samples tested in the last 24 hours is 0.64 per cent.
The confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Goa currently stand at 1,78,367 of which 1,74,712 patients have defeated the deadly disease. Till date 3,370 patients have succumbed to the disease.
According to the DHS, active positive cases in the jurisdictions of urban health centres stand as follows: Margao- 30 cases, Vasco – 7 cases, Panaji- 31 cases and Mapusa – 20 cases.
While the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of community health centres are as follows: Sankhali – 1 case, Bicholim – 10 cases, Pernem – 7 cases, Valpoi – 10 cases, Curchorem – 7 cases and Canacona – 9 cases.
And, the active positive cases in the jurisdictions of primary health centres stand as follows: Aldona – 3 cases, Betki – 3 cases, Candolim- 7 cases, Cansarvanem – 0 case, Colvale – 0 cases, Corlim – 1 cases, Chimbel – 7 cases, Siolim – 4 cases, Porvorim- 20 cases, Mayem – 0 case, Balli – 6 cases, Cansaulim – 8 cases, Chinchinim – 13 cases, Cortalim – 7 cases, Curtorim – 4 cases, Loutolim – 8 cases, Marcaim – 0 cases, Quepem – 10 cases, Sanguem – 4 cases, Shiroda- 8 cases, Dharbandora – 5 cases, Ponda – 31 cases and Navelim – 4 cases.
