One in custody following Canton Police, Sheriff and FBI raids in Canton
CANTON – The FBI is confirming law enforcement raids at several locations in the Canton area early Tuesday morning.
According to Special Agent Vicki Gregg with the FBI, one person was taken into custody on local charges as the agency helped served search warrants in Stark County.
Michaela Madison, spokesperson with the Stark County Sheriff's Office, said the Sheriff's Office, Canton Police and the FBI were serving warrants in the Maryland Avenue SW area around 7 a.m.
Both Canton Police Chief Jack Angelo and the Stark County Sheriff's Office told the Canton Repository more details are expected to be released later Tuesday afternoon.
