Katie Holmes' heavily-tattooed bodyguard dutifully carried her winter coat on the set of her third directorial effort, Rare Objects, in Manhattan's NoHo neighborhood on Tuesday.
The Ohio-born 42-year-old had removed the beige coat she was wearing that morning once the temperature climbed from 56F degrees to an unseasonably warm 70F degrees.
Katie was wearing a purple pussy-bow blouse tucked into baggy, high-waisted black jeans and white sneakers.

Katie co-wrote her big-screen adaptation of Kathleen Tessaro's 2016 novel with Phaedon Papadopoulos and she's also one of the producers.
'Rare Objects has been in the making for four or five years,' Holmes told InStyle last year.
'It's about the journey of this girl who has had quite a bit of hardship and tragedy. It hits on things that are very relevant - immigration, female issues.'
