ReutersNEW DELHI: Tata Motors(Rs. 2590.25 crore), Tata Power(Rs. 2528.28 crore), TVS Motor(Rs. 1968.37 crore), RIL(Rs. 1815.24 crore), M&M(Rs. 1352.30 crore), SBI(Rs. 1344.65 crore), HDFC Bank(Rs. 1001.03 crore), Axis Bank(Rs. 907.34 crore), HDFC(Rs. 866.68 crore) and IndusInd Bank(Rs. 830.84 crore) were among the most traded securities on the National Stock Exchange in Tuesday's session.
The NSE Nifty index ended the session 24.3 points down at 18044.25, while BSE Sensex fell 112.16 points to 60433.45.
In the Nifty index, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 3.80 per cent), Tata Motors Ltd.(up 1.65 per cent), Hero MotoCorp Ltd.(up 1.17 per cent), State Bank of India(up 1.13 per cent) and Oil And Natural Gas Corporation Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) stood among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 2.58 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.75 per cent), Maruti Suzuki India Ltd.(down 1.39 per cent), Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 1.37 per cent) and JSW Steel Ltd.(down 1.34 per cent) were among the top losers of the day.
