Sex And The City star Kim Cattrall joins Queer As Folk reboot playing Southern debutante 'with trailer park roots'

And just like that, Kim Cattrall has yet another hot project in the pipeline.

The former Sex and the City star is set to join the latest reboot of Queer as Folk for streaming site Peacock, Variety reports.

Cattrall, 65, has been cast as a recurring guest star in the LGBTQ drama, originally based on the trailblazing 1999 British version by Russell T Davies.

Her character has been described as a 'martini-soaked, high society Southern debutante with trailer park roots.'

Last week, it was reported that the Canadian-British star had landed a role on the Hulu series How I Met Your Father, a spin-off to the hugely successful How I Met Your Mother.

Meanwhile, filming is almost completed on the Sex and the City reboot, titled And Just Like That..., that Cattrall famously is not a part of.

Cattrall was allegedly the reason for the cancellation of the third Sex and the City movie - though it is unclear if she was ever invited to be a part of the latest HBO Max series.
