Net loss totaled $1.3 million, or 3 cents per share, after net income of $1.7 million, or 4 cents per share, last year. Revenue of $64.6 million was up from $53.4 million last year. The FactSet consensus was for a loss of 5 cents per share and revenue of $63.7 million. Vital Farms raised its full-year revenue outlook to between $253 million to $256 million, up nearly 20% versus last year. The FactSet consensus is for sales of $252.4 million. Vital Farms stock has dropped 35.1% for the year to date while the S&P 500 index SPX, +0.09% has gained 25.2% for the period.
