Renowned veteran sculptor from Odisha, Sudarshan Sahoo received the Padma Vibhushan award for his distinguished career in the field of art on November 08 at Rashtrapati Bhavan. “Architectural art is anciently a very big industry. Everything changes, art doesn't. One gets lost in art. I appeal to the youth to dedicate themselves to art so it can last longer. It's a work of virtue to keep it on such a pedestal. It is also appreciable that the Government of India is recognising artists”, said Sahoo.
