Paul Pogba will reportedly be sidelined until the New Year after the Manchester United star withdrew from the France squad due to a thigh injury sustained while away with Les Bleus.
The midfielder has missed Manchester United's last two Premier League matches due to suspension and on Tuesday, France confirmed he will miss both of their upcoming World Cup qualifiers due to a muscular problem.
Pogba pulled up during a one-on-one shooting drill with the national side at their Clairefontaine training base on Monday.

And according to reports in France, Pogba could miss between eight to ten weeks of action, in a huge blow to under-fire boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
He has been sent back to United's Carrington training base so the Red Devils can assess the significance of the injury and devise a schedule for the Frenchman's recovery, where he is expected to return after the busy Christmas period.
Teed up for a shot on the edge of the area by France manager Didier Deschamps, the 28-year-old yelled out with pain as he struck the ball.
He immediately limped and held his right left - indicating to Deschamps that the issue was around the thigh area.
To minimalise the threat of any further injury, a hobbling Pogba was taken off the pitch as he was accompanied by a member of staff to a car before being driven away.
The injury will come of frustration to Deschamps and United boss Solskjaer, with pressure mounting on the Norwegian following Saturday's derby defeat to arch rivals Manchester City.

The France Team tweeted: 'Paul Pogba has suffered an injury to the quadriceps of the right thigh and is forced to miss the next two matches.
'To replace him, Didier Deschamps called on Jordan Veretout.'
Les Bleus have two World Cup qualifiers in the current international break with a home clash against Kazakhstan on Saturday and then a trip to Finland on November 16.
Four days later, under-performing United head to Watford in the Premier League - although Pogba will serve the final of this three-match domestic ban.
After that, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's stuttering side head to Villarreal in the Champions League on November 23.

Last month, he was sent off for a reckless challenge on Liverpool's Naby Keita at Old Trafford
