The NSE Nifty index traded 41.9 points down at 18026.65, while BSE Sensex was down 196.95 points at 60348.66 as of 10:55AM(IST)on November 09.
In the Nifty index, Tata Motors Ltd.(up 2.86 per cent), Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd.(up 1.59 per cent), Grasim Industries Ltd.(up 1.45 per cent), Bajaj Auto Ltd.(up 1.13 per cent) and Divi's Laboratories Ltd.(up 1.04 per cent) were among the top gainers.
On the other hand, Britannia Industries Ltd.(down 2.31 per cent), HDFC Bank Ltd.(down 1.52 per cent), Nestle India Ltd.(down 1.25 per cent), Housing Development Finance Corporation Ltd.(down 1.12 per cent) and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd.(down 0.98 per cent) were among the top losers.
