Data company Collibra fetches $5 billion valuation

Collibra drew a private market valuation of $5.25 billion in its Series G private funding round of financing, the New York-based data intelligence company said on Tuesday. Sequoia Capital Global Equities (SCGE) and Sofina led the $250 million round, along with participation from new investor Tiger Global Management and existing investors Battery Ventures, CapitalG, Dawn Capital, Durable Capital Partners LP, Iconiq Capital and Index Ventures. The $5.25 billion valuation for Collibra is more than double its valuation of $2.35 billion in April, 2020.
