Radio Veritas Asia's Zo Service celebrates silver jubilee

CCpur, November 07 2021: The Silver Jubilee of Radio Veritas Asia (Zo Service) was celebrated on Sunday at St Joseph Parish's auditorium, Sugnu.
Singhat MLA and MANIREDA and MTDC chairman GS Haupu attended the celebration as chief guest, Rev Fr Victor of St Joseph's Parish as chief host and most Revered Dominic Lumon DD Archbishop of Imphal as functional president while social worker Chinkhanmang and ex-DSO Churachandpur Michael Ginzasuan, special contractors Johnson Langminlian and P Tongthang Zou were present as the guests of honour.
During his speech, GS Haupu expressed gratitude to Radio Veritas Asia (Zo Service) for acting as the voice of Christianity and God and appealed to the gathering'to live up to the Zou Law Preamble by living unitedly and in harmony.
Recalling his childhood days nostalgically, he said that God has lifted him from wretched condition and today he can be counted as one among the VIPs.
Though Zou's are a small community, they have been able to start the Radio Veritas Asia for spreading the message of God worldwide.
Rev Fr Victor wished the RVA to grow from strength to strength and serve its purpose in spreading the words of God while most Rev Dominic Lumon highlighted background of RVA and wished it to continue its mission.
The event was marked by presentation of special numbers by local artistes, Zou cultural dance and choreography.
