Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A man was allegedly thrashed by a few locals for allegedly misbehaving with a woman near the Phulbagh square of Gwalior's Padav police station area.
According to the local shopkeepers, the man was in an inebriated state and was doing obscene acts with the woman present at the shop.
A video of the act is also going viral. The video shows a few men fiercely beating a man with a stick.
The dispute went on for about 20 minutes but no policemen bothered to come, despite a police post is located near the incident spot, said a shopkeeper.
According to a shopkeeper, there is a food stall named Amritsari Naan near the Phulbagh square of Gwalior's Padav police station area.
People were having food here on Sunday afternoon when a man came in an inebriated state with his three companions.
He started molesting and made obscene gestures to a woman present there.
The food stall operator Shubham Rathod and his staff interfered and began to thrash the man. Few people standing there intervened and drove the youth away from the spot.
