Port Huron man dies following Worth Twp. motorcycle crash

A Port Huron man died Sunday morning after he hit a deer on his motorcycle.
Sanilac County Central Dispatch received a report of a single-vehicle motorcycle and deer crash shortly after 4 a.m. on St. Clair Road near Wellman Line Road in Worth Township, according to the Sanilac County Sheriff Department.
An initial investigation revealed the 52-year-old Port Huron man was northbound on St. Clair Road on a 2002 Harley-Davidson Sportster when he struck a deer in the road. The driver sustained fatal injuries from the crash, the sheriff department said.
The sheriff department said the man was found some time later lying in the road by a passerby.
The crash remains under investigation.
