HENDERSON, Nev. — Bob Braner, a former Southern California dealer who became CEO of U.S. operations for Lamborghini and Lotus, died Sept. 27 at 83. Braner, former owner of Beverly Hills Porsche-Audi, helped negotiate the purchase of Automobili Lamborghini on behalf of Indonesian company Megatech from then-Chrysler Corp. in 1994. In 2006, Braner was named CEO of Lotus Cars USA to spearhead an expansion of the brand in the U.S.
