Telangana establishes National Center for Additional Manufacturing

Hyderabad: Telangana is working with the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology to set up a National Center for Additive Manufacturing to promote 3D printing, prototyping and provide access to its infrastructure to the industries, said KT Rama Rao, Minister of Industries and IT, said.

During the Man’Exe – 2021, organized with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), he said Telangana would work with CII on group development, green and sustainable solutions and the creation of modern career societies. The state will also include the greening of data centers as part of its efforts to promote the concept of net zero emissions.

The Minister released a report entitled ‘Future of Manufacturing in a Post-Pandemic World’, released by CII and Ernst & Young. This report presents challenges and lessons learned from the pandemic and will help companies model their future manufacturing strategy.

He also launched a new portal madeintelangana.linker.store that provides commission-free services to sellers. The platform cures pearls, clothing, home decoration, appliances, consulting services and more. It will provide buyers with products of Telangana origin in one place.

The awards from the Telangana Industries division were presented to selected organizations. Kalyani Rafael Advanced systems, Optimus Drugs, Nava Bharat Ventures and Shree Malani Foams received the export awards. Bharat Biotech, Skyroot Aerospace, Sensa Core Medical Instrumentation and Optimus Drugs have won the Innovation Awards.

L&T Metro Rail Hyderabad, Roligt Foods, Ctrl S Datacenters and Khetan Corru Case were celebrated for their best sustainable practices. Nava Bharat Ventures, JK Fenner and Mahindra & Mahindra have received awards for CSR activities. Maithri Aquatech, Befach 4x and Hesa ​​Technologies received the awards under the best start-up category.

Tata Consultancy Services and 24-7 Intouch (Knoah) were awarded for their special contribution (IT Services) among the large and medium categories respectively. Mishra Dhatu Nigam, MSN Laboratories, Optimus Drugs, Zen Technologies, WiSig Networks and Indian Institute of Technology- Hyderabad received the ‘Best IP Portfolio’ awards across various categories.
