HCL Technologies has announced that Darren Oberst, head of HCL Software has decided to leave the company to pursue another opportunity.
HCL Software is a business line housing products in partnership with or acquired from IBM, accounting for about 11-12% of the Company’s revenue.
Darren joined HCL in 2014 as the head of corporate development and moved to lead this group in 2016.
"We appreciate Darren’s contribution to the organization," HCL Tech said.
In its regulatory filing, HCL Tech said that interim leadership will take over this week, and in parallel, the Company will interview candidates internally and externally to lead this business segment.
With the change, HCL also plans to align its entire suite of products and platforms allowing for greater synergies.
At around 12.59 pm, HCL Tech was trading at Rs1181.80 per piece down marginally on Sensex.
