Stock market update: Fertilisers stocks mixed as market falls

NEW DELHI: Fertilisers stocks were trading mixed on Monday at 10:45AM

Sikko Industries(up 4.95%), Aries Agro(up 3.42%), G S F C(up 3.11%), Madras Fertlizers(up 0.86%), Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.83%), Nagarjuna Fertilizers & Chem(up 0.53%), ZUARIAGRO(up 0.22%), National Fertilizer(up 0.18%) and Mangalore Chemicals & Fertilizers(up 0.07%) were among the top gainers.

Agro Phos(down 1.68%), KRISHANA(down 1.40%), Chambal Fertilisers & Chemicals(down 1.25%), Southern Petrochemicals Industries(down 1.03%), Madhya Bharat Agro Products(down 0.77%), Khaitan Chemicals & Fertilizers(down 0.74%), Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers (down 0.72%), Coromandel International(down 0.68%), Fertilizers & Chemicals Tranvancore(down 0.46%) and Deepak Fertilizers & Petrochemicals(down 0.12%) were among the top losers.

The NSE Nifty50 index was trading 27.35 points down at 17889.45, while the 30-share BSE Sensex was down 106.63 points at 59960.99 at around 10:45AM.

UltraTech Cement(up 4.16%), Indian Oil Corporation(up 2.97%), Grasim Industries(up 2.44%), Titan Company Ltd(up 2.29%), Tech Mahindra(up 2.05%), Bharat Petroleum Corporation(up 1.75%), Bajaj Finserv(up 1.47%), Shree Cement(up 1.4%), Kotak Mahindra Bank(up 1.34%) and Tata Motors(up 1.31%) were among the top gainers in the Nifty pack.

On the other hand, IndusInd Bank(down 11.61%), Divis Laboratories(down 7.76%), Hindalco Industries(down 2.29%), Mahindra & Mahindra(down 1.44%), Asian Paints(down 1.4%), Reliance Industries(down 1.29%), State Bank of India(down 0.97%), Axis Bank(down 0.88%), TATA CONSUMER PRODUCTS(down 0.83%) and Cipla(down 0.8%) were trading in the red.
