Amber Davies has said that she does not regret rekindling her romance with Nick Kyriacou despite Dolly Parton telling her to 'stay away from men.'
Dolly, 75, and Amber, 25, met when she starred in the musical 9 to 5 back in 2017, which is when the country music star warned her that men would ruin her career.
However, Amber is back with her ex Nick for a third time and is hoping it will last this time around.

Speaking with The Sun, Amber detailed her thoughts on going against Dolly's advice: 'I’m not sure Dolly even knows about Nick. I highly doubt that she stalks my Instagram page or anything like that. So I don’t know what she’ll make of it.'

Amber and Nick, 29, first got together just over a year ago but have broken up three times since then.
She said of her relationship with the operations manager: 'Everyone my age is still figuring things out and that’s the same when it comes to a relationship. Nick and I were still trying to see how we worked together and fitted into each other's lifestyles when we split.'

Their relationship has played out somewhat publicly but this did not seem to matter to Amber.
She said: 'It didn’t matter that it was all in public. I had the support of my family who know how I feel. He knows how he feels. So I had to ignore what other people might think and not put pressure on myself.'
Amber also said that Nick had a hard time coming to terms with the fact that her life was very much in the public eye, but has now reconciled with this and helps her with her work.
She went on to reveal that he even goes through scripts with her and that she teaches him dance routines.

Amber is currently starring as Campbell in the West End show of Bring It On.
She said that Nick is more nervous than her before she takes to the stage, and that he feels the pressure of the job.
Although Amber had an infamous stint on Love Island which saw her having sex with then boyfriend Kem Centinay all over the Villa, this did not seem to matter to Nick's family when she met them and they actually were huge fans of her on the show.

She went on to win the show and the reality TV appearance did not affect her acting career either, and landed the role as Judy Bernly in 9 to 5 soon after.
The current show she is starring in follows the lives of teenagers in high school and has songs composed by Lin Manuel Miranda.
Amber revealed to the publication that she would like the next steps in her career to have a role in a Netflix series.
