A day after the tragic Astroworld Music Festival stampede, American rapper Travis Scott has now issued an official statement and condoled the death of 8 people.
As many as 8 people and eleven people were hospitalised with cardiac arrest at the Astroworld music festival in the southern US state of Texas on Friday. The incident took place around 9 pm when the heavy crowd of fans began to move towards the front of the stage.

Condoling the deaths of people, Travis Scott tweeted that he is absolutely devasted by what took place last night. His prayers go out to the families and all those impacted by what happened at Astroworld Festival. He further wrote that Houston PD has his total support as they continue to look into the tragic loss of life. He is committed to working together with the Houston community to heal and support the families in need.
Concludingly, he thanked the Houston PD, Fire Department and NRG Park for their immediate response and support.

Kylie Jenner slammed for posting video of ambulance in crowd
Travis Scott’s pregnant girlfriend and makeup tycoon Kylie Jenner also attended the Astroworld Music Festival along with her daughter, Stormi. Kylie was slammed on social media for posting a video in her Instagram stories wherein an ambulance can be seen making its way through the crowd.
One user called out Kylie and tweeted that she want to remind everyone that the ambulance can be seen on Kylie Jenners Instagram story from the Travis Scott concerts and despite the sad news the video has not been taken down.
Another user wrote that the Astro World situation should remind everyone that these influencers and celebrities do not care about people. Travis is mocking the kids dying. Kylie Jenner and Kendall leave their stories up and take cute videos while ambulances roll through.
