Three people shot, wounded during 'huge' block party in Pahokee after Muck Bowl

Three people were shot and wounded late Saturday, one of them critically, during a block party in Pahokee following the Pahokee Blue Devils' win over Glades Central in the annual Muck Bowl high school football game.

The Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office said deputies were attempting to break up a "huge" party near South Lake Avenue and Daniel Place when gunshots were heard.

After the crowd dispersed, two adult men and one adult woman were found with gunshot wounds and taken to an area hospital. One of the people shot is listed in critical condition, another is listed in serious condition and the third had non-life threatening injuries.

Detectives from the Violent Crimes Division of the sheriff's office is investigating. No motive or suspect was known as of early Sunday, according to public information officer Teri Barbera.

Pahokee beat Glades Central 28-0 in the much-anticipated annual showdown of the rival schools.
