WhatsApp ends support for some smartphones
Facebook-owned WhatsApp will stop working on some of the Android and iOS smartphones starting today. So, if you have been using an old Android smartphone or iPhone, then you may need to worry about WhatsApp support.
The popular instant messaging app has confirmed that it will stop working on phones that are not running Android OS 4.1 and above and iOS 10 and above. In order to continue using the application, users will have to get a new smartphone that runs on supporting operating system versions. Users can backup their chat history before moving on to a new smartphone.

OnePlus teased new device, likely be a special-edition smartphone
OnePlus has teased the launch of a new device in India on via its official Twitter handle. The tweet reads, "Something you definitely won't 🙄 at is coming soon...," tweeted the company's from its official OnePlus India handle. The company has shared a picture of the Pac-Man game in the tweet.
This suggests that OnePlus may launch a special Pac-Man edition in Nord series. The upcoming smartphone is most likely to be the Pac-Man edition of OnePlus Nord 2. Like all special editions in the past, the Pac-Man edition of OnePlus Nord 2 too will be a Limited Edition.

Google announced Users’ Choice Award 2021: Details
Google has opened up voting for Users’ Choice Award 2021. Users can now vote for their favourite app and game of 2021. Voting ends November 17 and Google will announce the ‘users’ choice winner on November 30. Along with this, the company will also announce the best apps and games across multiple categories selected by the Google editorial team.

Krafton brings changes to Facebook login for BGMI
Battlegrounds Mobile India has announced some changes in respect to the login methods for the app. The company has confirmed via an official post that Facebook logins will be disabled starting November 5 for a certain type of BGMI users.
According to the official post published by Krafton, starting November 5, 2021, users who use their Facebook account as a login method for BGMI will need to have the Facebook app installed on their smartphone. The embedded browser of Android devices to log in to Facebook accounts will no longer work.

Nitantic announces shutdown date for Harry Potter: Wizards Units
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was launched as the ‘spiritual successor' to Pokemon GO in 2019 and today Niantic, the studio behind both the games, has announced that the game will be shutting down on January 31, 2022.
Niantic, in an official post, confirmed that the game will be pulled from Apple App Store, Google Play Store and Samsung Galaxy Store on December 6 and all the in-app purchases will also be paused on the same day. The post further confirms that the game’s social media channels and community forums will be closed on January 31.

Twitter now allows users to listen to Spaces without an account
Micro-blogging website has rolled out an update that brings improvements to Spaces. The platform now allows users to listen to Spaces audio without signing-in. The new feature will allow hosts and listeners to send a direct link to a Spaces audio broadcast. Those who do not have a Twitter account can also listen to it on the web without logging in. Although listeners without the account won’t be able to participate, the feature will give a wider reach to hosts.

Instagram announces ‘Add Yours’ feature, allows users to start Story threads
Meta-owned photo and video sharing platform has received a new feature ‘Add Your’ to bring more interactivity to Stories. The feature allows users to add interactive stickers to their stories after testing it for a while in Japan and Indonesia.
Once you have added the sticker to your Stories, other users can use the ‘Add Yours’ option inside it and can share their own image or video to your Story by creating a new thread.

Nokia T20 Android tablet launched in India: Price, specs and other details
HMD Global has launched the Nokia T20 tablet in India. The tablet was launched in the US earlier this month. The device will be available to purchase from offline stores, Flipkart and Nokia’s official website from November 2. The company has launched compatible accessories along with the tablet.
The Nokia T20 tablet will be available in three different variants. The Wi-Fi only variant that has 32GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 15,499. The Wi-Fi only variant with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage is priced at Rs 16,499.
