Some would rather stay home than work

There are so many people who are out of work and don't want to go back to work and would rather stay home and collect unemployment; people who are able-bodied and can get around.

I am handicapped and in a wheelchair. I am a high school graduate, have gone to college, have work experience and worked in the school system. I can't even find a volunteer job. Can anyone give me any ideas?
