Jangaon: Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao claimed that the Union government led by Narendra Modi was ruining the lives of the farmers through his actions and policies, demanded a categorical statement on the purchase of the paddy and called on the BJP head of state and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay ventured to ensure that the BJP-led government made a statement at the center that it would buy paddy at Telangana.
The minister spoke during a program after commissioning a paddy shopping center set up under the banner of the Farmer Service Cooperative Society (FSCS) at the Dardepally village of Palakurthi mandal in the district on Saturday.
The Minister said that Prime Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has been striving for the well-being of the farming community since the TRS came to power in the state after reaching the separate state. “In addition to completing the pending projects in the state, Kaleswaram Lift Irrigation Scheme (KLIS) and other lots of water in Telangana and crops thrive,” he said, recalling that the farmers are provided with Ryhthu. Bheema, Rythu Bandhu , and free and quality uninterrupted electricity supply for 24 hours.
“Because of these efforts, there were no suicides of farmers in the state,” he said. However, Errabelli claimed that the Center showed a careless attitude towards the farmers of Telangana. “It has brought laws against farmers, and now it is determined that it will not buy the paddy,” he said.
