The day of the vaccination camp in Tamil Nadu has been postponed due to rainfall, according to Medical and Public Welfare Minister Ma Subramanian. The TN government, which had previously held the vaccination camp on Sundays, agreed to accommodate non-vegetarians' request and now holds the vaccination programme on Saturdays.

The TN government, which had previously held the vaccination camp on Sundays, agreed to accommodate non-vegetarians' request and now holds the vaccination programme on Saturdays. 

The tamil Nadu government was planned to undertake the eighth mega vaccination programme tomorrow, after holding seven so far. Following the entrance of the Deepavali festival on Thursday, a public holiday was declared on friday and Saturday. As a result, the 8th mega vaccination camp, which was supposed to take place on saturday but was rescheduled for the 14th owing to rain, has been rescheduled for the 14th.

"The big medical camp scheduled for tomorrow has been postponed to next week due to ongoing holidays and rains," Medical and Public Welfare minister Subramanian stated at a press conference in Chennai. Various departmental employee unions have underlined this. The mega vaccination programme will be organised on the 14th, as the northeast monsoon is expected to rain in 15 districts tomorrow. Corona has impacted 945 persons in tamil Nadu in the previous 24 hours. In Chennai, 112 persons have been affected.
