Despite a liquor ban in the state, several such incidents have been reported in the past.

Bihar Minister Janak Chamar, who had previously visited the families of the deceased in Bettiah and Gopalganj, described the incident as “unfortunate” and said: “Conspiracy under the pretext of counterfeit liquor can be seen. Those who consume it are poor. When “If action is taken and raids are carried out, the weak are caught. The weak are caught, the weak die. Unfortunately!” “We have visited every grieving family, the deceased cannot be brought back, but people pray for those who are fighting for their lives in hospitals. I am in contact with DM, SP and relevant officials. Such things happen, fear of police does not become not seen, ”Chamar added.
