Lakers with one more embarrassing loss as they blow another 19 point lead

Lakers’ who are without LeBron for a week due to abdominal injury lost again to the OKC after leading in the 2nd quarter by 19 points, AD scored 29 points.

Lakers were embarrassed again by a young OKC team, who is arguably the worst in the NBA, the Purple and Gold led were ahead in the game by 19 points at one time, and yet again they blew the lead. This same instance happened against the OKC where they led by 26 points but ended up getting outscored in the 2nd,3rd, and the 4th quarter to lose the game. OKC won by 107-104 and improved their record to 2-6 with both wins coming against the Lakers.

One of the main reasons for the Lakers’ loss was Anthony Davis sprained his thumb while chasing down a loose ball just before halftime, giving Lakers fans additional anxiety. Davis didn’t return until the third quarter with his thumb wrapped, but he still finished with a double-double of 29 points and 17 rebounds in 37 minutes (thanks in large part to a dominant first half before his injury). Russell Westbrook led the offence and gave the complete Russell Westbrook show in 35 minutes, shooting 10-23 from the field for 27 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Carmelo also yet again scored 21 points while 5 of 10 from three. Even after 3 incredible performances Lakers lost because of little contribution from the bench and starters, no other player was in double figures.

For the OKC it was Shae Gilgeous Alexander who led them to yet another win against the Lakers with 28 points, he got a lot of help from the bench and their second star Lu Dort. SGA show extreme confided by shooting a logo 3 during clutch time, with 1  minute left on the clock he shot it from the logo and swished it.
