New Delhi: The Cricket Brotherhood poured out sincere birthday wishes on Indian captain Virat Kohli when the running machine turned 33 today.
From legendary Indian cricketers like VVS Laxman, Virender Sehwag to the teammates of Delhi-born batsman, everyone used their Twitter handles to share wishes for Kohli on his special day.
Since making his debut in 2008, Kohli has played 254 ODIs, 96 Tests and 92 T20 matches for the national team. He has multiple records in all formats and is the only batsman to have a 50-plus average in all three formats of the game simultaneously.

With 70 international hundreds, Kohli is third on the list just behind Sachin Tendulkar (100) and Ricky Ponting (71). The Indian captain has 23159, which is the seventh most on the list of all time highest runmakers in international cricket.

The 33-year-old is also the leading run-scorer in men’s T20 matches with his 3,225 runs in 92 matches.
The batsman born in Delhi is the most successful Indian captain in Test cricket in terms of the number of victories. Under his 65-match captaincy, India have won 38 matches with remarkable Test series victories also in foreign territories.
