Team India are all set to play their fourth match in T20 World Cup 2021 against Scotland. After losing to Pakistan and New Zealand in their first two matches, Virat Kohli-led Indian team defeated Afghanistan in their last match and will play Scotland in another must-win game. Though it is very unlikely that India will be qualifying for the semi-finals.
Recently, in a video released by ICC, leg-spinner Varun Chakravarthy can be seen comparing Indian cricketers with various buildings of the UAE.
Chakravarthy compared team India skipper with the most famous building in the UAE, Burj Khalifa, while he compared former captain and mentor MS Dhoni with the Burj Al Arab. Chakravarthy also gave the reason behind his comparison, he compared Kohli with Burj Khalifa because the player thinks that like Burj Khalifa, Indian captain Virat Kohli also has such height that no one can touch him in cricket. While speaking about Dhoni the spinner said that like Burj Al Arab is in the middle of the water, Dhoni is also very cool-minded.
He also compared Hardik Pandya with the Atlantis Hotel, Rishabh Pant with the famous Cayan tower in Dubai. And when asked about himself, Chakravarthy compared himself with an under-construction building in the City. Because the players think that like the building his career is also under construction.
Chakravarthy didn’t play the match against Afghanistan after his average performances against Pakistan and New Zealand. Ravichandran Ashwin replaced him in the playing XI and took 2 wickets too.
