Jammu and Kashmir: Cop killed in accidental fire in Kishtwar

Jammu/UNI: A police personnel on Friday died in accidental firing in Kishtwar district of Jammu and Kashmir Police.

Police said Head Constable Ajeet Singh was killed in an accidental firing at Malipeth check point.

"Profusely bleeding cop was rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar where he succumbed," they said.

"His SLR rifle went off accidentally and he received serious injuries and later succumbed," police said.

He was a native of Ranbir Singh Pura, Jammu.
