Indian openers KL Rahul and Rohit Sharma started the 86-runs chase on a positive note against Scotland in match 37 of the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2021 in Dubai. India chased down the runs in 6.3 overs and won the clash by eight wickets.
India's net run rate is above Afghanistan and obviously, New Zealand. However, this all would be useless if New Zealand win their match against Afghanistan.
While India's Hitman was sent back after a powerful 30 runs of 16 balls, the damage was already done. Rahul's half-century and skipper Virat Kohli, Suryakumar Yadav's cameo helped India win the match comfortably.

Earlier, India made one change as they brought back Varun Chakaravarthy in place of Shardul Thakur.
