Imphal, November 04 2021: Acknowledging the selfless sacrifice of staffers of health care centres under the jurisdiction of Potsangbam Zilla Parishad, ZP member L Boby Devi presented simple gifts to the staffers as a mark of respect to them.

A simple function was held at her Khonghampat Awang Leikai residence on Thursday to present gifts to doctors, nurses and ASHA workers of PHC Khonghampat; Health & wellness centres, Awang Wabagai and Health & wellness centre, Tendongyan.

Speaking at the function, L Boby Devi noted that health workers are taking huge roles in saving people's lives during Covid-19 pandemic.

In addition to treatment to patients, healthcare workers also providing medicines to the needy, she said and conveyed that the simple gifts were presented to the healthcare workers in appreciation of their sacrifices.
