Nemcha Kipgen inaugurates 'The Oasis'

Kangpokpi, November 04 2021: Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen on Thursday inaugurated a newly established restaurant 'The Oasis' at Ngamkon Inn, IT Road, Ward No 8 in Kangpokpi town.
The newly inaugurated establishment was dedicated by Pastor Khuptinlal Hangshing.
Speaking on the occasion, Nemcha Kipgen strongly advocated cooperative movement especially among the youths in the district and stressed on the success of the cooperative economic model in Germany and throughout the world.
The MLA extended her appreciation to 'The Oasis' team especially the founder for such an innovative idea while adding that such cooperative movement contributes significantly to the development of the society.
She exhorted the youths to seek assistance from the 'Startup Manipur' mission as the Government of Manipur is committed to creating a Startup ecosystem in the State by providing the right resources and platform.
The MLA Nemcha also encouraged the gathering to embrace the cooperative movement in the town to make it an intangible cultural heritage.
She then motivated the founder of 'The Oasis' to develop it into a five-star hotel in the coming years while appealing to the youths of Kangpokpi to let this innovative idea be the beginning and embark on a cooperative movement for the development of Kangpokpi town.
It may be mentioned that the owner and founder of the restaurant, Kimdeilhing Kipgen who earlier worked as a service staff in a prestigious 'Celebrity Solstice Cruise-liner' decided to leave her high profile job to start a restaurant and inspire the youths to take up their own business.
